Hobby Search Gunpla Shipment
This is my first time getting gunplas from Hobby Search. The 50% off shipping promotion made some damage to my pocket :P
Yoshi is helping me with deboxing and inspecting the shipment :)
On the top I got a MG Zaku II MS-06F and a HG Avalanche Exia.
Next I got a MG Launcher and Sword Strike Gundam.
And at the bottom I got a MG Guntank.
I know they are not exactly new releases, but I have also been getting new Gunplas just a while ago (1, 2, 3, 4). Just want to catch up with some older releases that I missed last year. So if you were to get some gunplas, which ones would you get?
Regarding the packaging, Hobby Search is about the same as Amiami. They use very similar materials for packing and none of the gunpla boxes are damaged.
Can anyone tell me what does this label say?
Do you think this kind of promotion would encourage you to get some gunplas?
So here is how much it costed me:
[Your Order.] Bandai 2097433 Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash (HG) (Gundam Model Kits) 1/144 Item price :1,600 yen x Q.T.Y :1 = 1,600 yen Bandai 2031560 MS-06F ZakuII Ver.2.0 (MG) (Gundam Model Kits) 1/100 Gundam (MG) Item price :2,800 yen x Q.T.Y :1 = 2,800 yen Bandai 2028922 GAT-X105 Launcher & Sword Strike Gundam (MG) (Gundam Model Kits) 1/100 Gundam SEED (MG) Item price :4,000 yen x Q.T.Y :1 = 4,000 yen Bandai 2057905 RX-75 Guntank (MG) (Gundam Model Kits) 1/100 Gundam (MG) Item price :3,840 yen x Q.T.Y :1 = 3,840 yen HobbySearch Shipping Cost(Campaign Shipping Cost) 3,750 yen Total Cost 15,990 yen
It is roughly C$180. I would say if I were to get the same locally they would be roughly:
Avalanche Exia ~ C$30
MG Zaku II ~ C$60
MG Launcher and Sword Strike ~ C$80
MG Guntank ~ C$80
Total C$250. So I saved about 28% this time shopping from Hobby Search.
In terms of turn around time, Hobby Search took a total of 7 calendar days once I placed the order until the shipment arrived. Not bad at all considering it has to come all the way from the land of the rising sun.
