Sadly we had to leave Kakegawa. We had so much fun in such a short period of time (2 days 1 night) but we were scheduled to be in Osaka next. So here we go on the Shinkansen and this time, my wife was prepared; she brought us bentos to have on the train!
These bentos were brought at the train station, very delicious.
Here are some of the photos I took on the way to Osaka.
Saw a full rainbow on the way!
Weather was iffy. There were times when it was raining but since the Shinkansen covers such a great distance in a short amount of time, in half an hour we started to see the sun again.
We arrived at the Shin-Osaka station. This is where we transferred to local trains before arriving at our hotel.
This was our first time visiting Osaka, it was a bit confusing at first at the train station. I thought we were going to use JR but then the attendant advised us to take the metro.
Finally got to the metro station and figured out where we needed to go. Still had no idea how to get to the hotel….
This metro map on the train is so different from that of Tokyo. This train network looks more like a grid than a loop in Tokyo.
So we were on our way to our hotel but really I had no idea where the hotel is. All I knew was that it is really close to the station where we were to be taking off soon :P
