I like Japanese Architecture, and I like their garden design.  Visiting parks while in Tokyo is fun for me as I get to take lots of pictures.  This time, I went to Ueno Park.  It is a good size park with many paths and walkways.  It has lots of trees and shades.  If you have not been there and would like to visit Ueno Park, the easiest way is to take the JR train to the Ueno station.  The park is just across the street from the train station.

Tokyo is preparing and bidding for the Summer Olympics in 2016.  The winning bid will be announced in October 2009.  Good luck Tokyo!  More about the bid at Wikipedia.

Nice restaurant in the park.
