Have you tried creating your own Photo Book? It is quite a neat publishing experience. I use Aperture to manage my photos and Apple makes it so easy to create my own photo books. Aperture comes with a nice set of photo book templates and it is very intuitive to use. Everything is drag-and-drop as expected. When you drag photos into the photo placeholder on a page, it is automatically resized to fit. You can also zoom in within the photo placeholder to crop out parts of the photos you don’t like. If you use iPhoto, it is a very similar experience. I imagine it would also be very similar with independent photo book printers like Blurb.
Revolver Coffee is another local coffee bar that aim to stand out from the big chain coffee shops. What they offer is quite unique: their principal brew method is the 1940s industrial design icon Chemex coffee brewer.
Update: Photos also appear in http://www.dearcoffeeiloveyou.com/revolver-coffee/ Thanks Brian of Dear Coffee I Love You to feature my photos.
Summer is ending soon. After Labour Day (first Monday in September), school will go back to normal schedule and it seems another 10 months of hard work starts all over again in the work force. Summer always seem to give everyone a little break. However Summer is selfishly short here in Vancouver. The most enjoyable time in the year in my opinion is July and August. It is when the weather is usually the mildest, with the longest day light and has the least amount of rain.
We went to Sushi Hachi in Richmond earlier this month. It is one of the better sushi restaurants in Richmond.
This is a continuation of the Hong Kong trip photos I took with my Lumix GF2. This time a shop caught my attention. It is a locally owned and operated - Morn Creations.
Other than using an iPhone 3GS, the Lumix GF2 is the other photo equipment I brought along on my trip to Hong Kong. Here are some of the photos I took during the trip.
Since I was already in Hong Kong, the chances of getting Japanese goods were very good. There were lots of Japanese food to choose from. Even though it was not like actually visiting Japan, I was satisfied with the choices available.
These photos were taken using an iPhone 3GS with Camera+.
In Hong Kong, there is no surprise to see tall apartment buildings. Also if you want to look at the sky, you would have to look straight up as most buildings would block you from looking at the sky if you don’t raise your head.
More photos taken in Hong Kong using the iPhone 3GS and Camera+.
