Granville Island Broom Company

It has been a couple years since we last visited the Granville Island Broom Company.  I always find it fascinating to visit a tool maker who uses traditional techniques and natural materials to fabricate a great tool and a piece of art at the same time.

Their brooms are one of a kind.  I got permission to take a few pictures at the back where they store their newly made brooms and their materials.

Each broom is different and you really have to try a few to be able to pick the right one for your liking.  I never knew buying a broom is so much fun!

I did pick one up for myself. I was intended to keep and use it in the garage but I have not used it because it is getting rainy and I don’t want to make it wet.  It is still hanging in its original packaging waiting for me to put it to work.
