Wiimote Girl
Once again we are approaching the end of the summer. What better way to celebrate than to be surrounded by awesome cosplayers? This year’s Anime Evolution is held at UBC. I haven’t taken photos for a little bit and was feeling a bit rusty with my photo equipment. Some photos didn’t turn out and I apologize to those who posed for me and not seeing their photos posted here. And if you are the cosplayer and would like to get the high-resolution photo, please feel free to contact me by leaving me a comment below.
Updated: photo captions curtesy of Lightning Sabre. Lightning Sabre also posted a Anime Evolution 2010 Cosplay page with lots of cosplayer photos I don’t have. Thanks Lightning Sabre!!

It is difficult to believe we have maybe less than half of our summer left. It started sort of early, then cooled down for a couple of weeks. And then the heat came back for real.
Sharing some of the photos I took in the past month or so here. Hope you like them.

We have been living in townhomes since we moved away from our parents. We are currently living in our second townhome. For those who are not familiar with the term “townhome” or “townhouse”, what it means is a building with multiple units, each unit is separated from another unit by a common wall. Most townhouses these days got it’s own garage on the ground level, a living room, dinning room and kitchen on the first floor, and bedrooms on the top floor. Some bigger townhomes also got a guest room on the ground level as well.

Here are some photos of wild flowers taken last weekend. I thought the photos would be totally shorty from the sun blasting right above us but they kind of turned out okay….

There are lots of swallows near where we live and I have always been curious in how well the Canon T1i works in capturing something small and fast.

Discovered this little restaurant in Steveston and was waiting for an opportunity to try it out. Gudrun Tasting Room is located in the Steveston Village, somewhat hidden but very trendy in what it offers.

Been drinking less coffee lately. I still enjoy coffee but sometimes I feel like some alternatives. So far I find Muji tea to be one of my favorites.
