Swallow spotting
There are lots of swallows near where we live and I have always been curious in how well the Canon T1i works in capturing something small and fast.
So I switched to sports mode and waited for the birds to fly near me. They don’t fly close enough though.
The swallows are so small that it is actually very difficult to find them and focus on them. I was using the 70-200 F4L and zoomed to 200mm. Even at that zoom range, they are still very small inside the view finder.
Getting them in focus is not as easy as I thought. Got to practice some more….
Do you have any tips for taking photos of birds in flight?
