Was out and about on a sunny autumn day and everything looks prettier when there is sunlight. I like architecture and Aberdeen Centre is a nice building that does not look boring like most other malls I have seen. The glass exterior that forms curves definitely makes a nice alternative to the otherwise boring layout of most rectangular buildings for shopping malls.

I took some shots of the exterior of the mall. If you have never been to Aberdeen Centre, come check it out.  It is right next to the Aberdeen Skytrain station on the Canada Line.

We are getting so close to Halloween and I can’t help to post some pumpkin photos. We are lucky that we have lots of pumpkin patches around our neighbourhood and it is always fun to visit them when they open only for the month of October.

Summer is ending soon.  After Labour Day (first Monday in September), school will go back to normal schedule and it seems another 10 months of hard work starts all over again in the work force. Summer always seem to give everyone a little break.  However Summer is selfishly short here in Vancouver. The most enjoyable time in the year in my opinion is July and August.  It is when the weather is usually the mildest, with the longest day light and has the least amount of rain.

Back at Rocanini Coffee Roasters for a second time, and this time we shared a siphon coffee. Siphon is a vacuum coffee maker, the mechanics of it is quite simple, but the coffee resulted from this method is supposed to be rich, pure, smooth and crisp.
