I finally got some photos of my recent workspace and submitted to figure.fm for the Otacool 3 Workspace. Here is what I submitted.
While I was away last week, my latest amiami purchase arrived. I was looking one night and realized that they had one MG Astray Red Frame in stock and I had to take the opportunity. And together with the MG Astray Red Frame, I also got a HG Gundam Exia Repair II. Total including shipping cost ¥6,370. To put things in perspective, the MG Astray Red Frame is listed for ¥5,000. Local stores here would be selling it at around C$70 to C$75 + taxes (C$78.4 to C$84). The HG Gundam Exia Repair II is listed for ¥1,200. Local stores here would be selling it at around C$14 to C$16 + taxes (C$15.68 to C$17.92). Conversely, ¥6,370 is about C$70. I am easily saving 25 to 30%.
Some more work in progress update of my HG Seravee Gundam. As mentioned last time, I like to beef up the shoulder armors without making the Seravee Gundam wider than it originally is. So here is how it is turning out.
Since Amiami.com has been extending their 50% off International Shipping, my wallet has been bleeding non-stop…. Another shipment just arrived before the weekend and here is what I got.
Been thinking that the extra armor on the shoulders look a bit skinny compared to some linearts I have seen online. So I have decided to try something and see if I can improve the proportion of the armor.
Worked on the HG Seravee Gundam over the weekend and got it all snapped together. It is a lot bigger than I originally anticipated. Here are some pictures of the progress.
Last time I stopped working on the HG Seravee Gundam after putting the head and the upper body together, and did some small modification on the head. This time, I have done a little bit more refinement on the head as well as building the arms. A small detail is also added to the arm to enhance the appearance. Here is a small write up.
Finally, after months, if not years of not making any Gundams, today I decided to spend some time getting reacquainted with my hobby. I decided to start with a High Grade kit as there are fewer pieces to work with and hopefully it will take less time. So here is my progress.
