Queen Elizabeth Park Sunset
We had another super nice day in Vancouver. This time I was at Queen Elizabeth Park. Lucky I got there before they increase the special parking fee to $20 a day for Olympic events during Feb 16 to Feb 27.
Queen Elizabeth Park is pretty close to the Vancouver City Centre, you can literally see downtown from the park.
At the top of the park, there is a fountain that displays different patterns and it is a popular place for visitors and locals to hang out.
During the day, I have seen people practising taichi in this area, too.
Even though parking is not free (the regular parking fee is $2 for 2 hours), it is a nice place to visit with friends and families especially on clear days that you can see far far away.
