A friend recommended this hotel in Osaka and we were lucky to be able to book it in a very short amount of lead time.  We happened to find it in HotelClub.com and it was at pretty decent price. With this booking confirmed, we are spending a few days in the Osaka neighbourhood.

Nearly forgot to post about the Green House at Kamo Iris Garden. This is a green house that has a traditional Japanese building appearance but has transparent roofs to let light through. It is quite something to see as there are so many plants inside.

And with the iPhone, Camera+ is definitely a must have for better control of exposure, as well as adding effects like these to the otherwise plain-old-camera-phone photos. All these photos are taken using an iPhone 4 and uploaded directly from Camera+ after some effects and borders are added in the app.

In the past week or so, I have taken some test shots to try out the camera in different settings. The Lumix GF2 has a lot to offer in terms of it’s capabilities. It can be used as a simple point-and-shoot style camera, or you can flip it to the different modes and control different aspects of the camera.  Here are some of the sample photos I like to share with you.
