Photo Walk 1 – Downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park and Vancouver Convention Centre

Went out to have a quick walk around after work to take some pictures of the awesome summer weather in Vancouver.  We picked a theme “color” and I chose green as my primary color of my photos.  It is easier said than done as we quickly found out there are photos of other colors that we like to take as well.  So here I was sticking with the green theme for a little while.

I always like taking pictures of buildings, I need a wide angle lens NOW.

This is more blue than green, but as I said, I like buildings.

These town houses are very nice.  Do you happen to know how much they are worth?

We walked closer to Stanley Park and we are finding that it is more difficult to stick with the theme.

The new Vancouver Convention Centre looking from Stanley Park.  The roof top is life vegetation, it is a lawn I think.  But with the recent dry weather, it is turning more yellow than green.

And we found some wild raccoons.  There are three of them, a family I imagine.  Too bad they cannot be domesticated as pets.

Stanley Park is just on the edge of the city and it has a lot of wild life inhabiting.

As the evening arrives, my color of choice totally went out of the window.  Blue became dominant.

Back at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

They have some pretty nice structures around.

It is nicely lit up in Blue.

Overlooking the Canada Place from the Vancouver Convention Centre.

No late workers like those in Tokyo.

Hope you enjoyed this photo post.

Ahh… I miss Vancouver. Will have to go again soon.

Surprisingly, this year it’s alot greener over here than in Van. Usually, it’s the other way around.

Ya, I didn’t want to waste the opportunity. It was a beautiful day and I was just hungry for some night time shots.
