Japanese Dinner at Torarenbo

Been a while since I posted.  I have been busy with “hunting for food” (a.k.a. 揾食) for the last month.  So to celebrate arriving at a break from hunting, here is a post about food :)

We started visiting Torarenbo after having dinner there with a friend.  Their food is at the mid-price range, but we enjoy the taste of food there.  So once in a little while, we have a craving going there.

The restaurant seems to be run by Chinese people with Japanese chefs.  It is pretty typical these days in Richmond.

Here is the dynamite roll (Tenpora roll).  They use two pieces of prawn inside instead of one.  Double the taste!

Their Cream Corn Croquette is also very tasty. Crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside.

This is Torarenbo roll.  It has avocado and spicy tuna on top and inside.  If you are into Japanese cuisine, you should try this restaurant.

By the way, the photos are taken using iPhone 4.
