Snow Geese Migration Season

Once a year, we are greeted by the thousands of snow geese in Autumn as part of their path to migrate south bound to warmer places.  They only stop by for a few days and then they would fly off. But there are lots of them migrating at slighting different times during Autumn so we […]

Wild Mushrooms

The weather has been rather wet recently.  Lots of rainfall and therefore not a lot of foot traffic means lots of opportunities for mushrooms to grow in batches.  They look almost edible :)

Autumn Grass

Some greenery for your viewing pleasure :)  These photos are taken using the Sony NEX-5N with the SEL50F18 lens.  I really like the soft bokeh it produces.  What do you think?

Fall has suddenly come and gone in a matter of 6 weeks.  Actually our summer was relatively short;  it felt that it didn’t really start until August and then by late September Autumn arrived.  These photos were taken early October when we were enjoying some very nice fall weather.

Retina MacBook Pro 13″

I have been waiting for this piece of hardware for a while.  As a matter of fact, once the Retina MacBook Pro 15″ was released, I sold my 2011 MacBook Air because it had only 4GB of RAM and I was on the road to upgrade to the pro-line of Apple notebook computer. The 15″ […]
