Time Lapse Photography

Did you know Time-lapse photography is dated back to 1897?

You can find lots of HD time lapse photography videos online.  For example:

The video is not shot using a video camcorder.  In stead it is created by arranging sequences of photos taken by a digital camera.  By doing so, you actually have the freedom of using a lot of photography techniques and specialized equipment.  For example, tilt-shift video is pretty neat.

You can create your own time lapse videos.  Basic equipment you need is:

  1. Digital SLR
  2. Timer controller
  3. Tripod
  4. Computer and software to edit photos and videos
