Was out and about with my Sony Alpha NEX-5N a couple weekends ago and took these photos at the Vancouver International Airport. Wife and I took the Canada Line sky train out there to save some gas, and to take advantage of our local transportation system. It was cloudy but the photos turn out better than I expected.
Revolver Coffee is another local coffee bar that aim to stand out from the big chain coffee shops. What they offer is quite unique: their principal brew method is the 1940s industrial design icon Chemex coffee brewer.
Update: Photos also appear in http://www.dearcoffeeiloveyou.com/revolver-coffee/ Thanks Brian of Dear Coffee I Love You to feature my photos.
We went to Sushi Hachi in Richmond earlier this month. It is one of the better sushi restaurants in Richmond.
Took a bit of a blogging vacation for a month and now finally got time to catch up. It was in July when a friend from work invited me out on his boat to cruise to English Bay.

Other than paying someone to make coffee for me, I also love to make coffee at home.
Back at Rocanini Coffee Roasters for a second time, and this time we shared a siphon coffee. Siphon is a vacuum coffee maker, the mechanics of it is quite simple, but the coffee resulted from this method is supposed to be rich, pure, smooth and crisp.
More local hanami photos, this time we were at Gary Point Park in Steveston. We were lucky that they are in full bloom all at once.
West Coast Amusements was back at Lansdowne Centre for the annual outdoor carnival last week. It was the same night when I tested the GF2 but because I didn’t have a backup battery for the GF2 and it ran out of juice, I ended up spending the rest of the evening taking photos using the trusty T1i.
