We caught the last day of Tori no Ichi at Juzaisan Chokoku-ji (Temple of Tori) in Asakusa. Many people came here to pray for good health, good fortune and good business.  Tori no Ichi is an annual event held in November.

So what if you want to make okonomiyaki? Here at Milky Way in Osaka, we got the chef to illustrate how to make okonomiyaki for us. Firstly, we have the Hiroshima style, also known as hiroshimayaki. Then we have the Negiyaki (okonomiyaki with spring onions).  Both are very delicious and easy to make… my wife can attest :P

Since I was already in Hong Kong, the chances of getting Japanese goods were very good. There were lots of Japanese food to choose from. Even though it was not like actually visiting Japan, I was satisfied with the choices available.
