Nakano certainly has been a great place for us during our trip in Tokyo. We rented an apartment there and we had a lot of freedom to choose when we get in and out of the apartment. Also since Nakano has a lot of shops and restaurants, we didn’t have to worry about food at all. I think it is a great place to stay and between Ikebukuro and Nakano, it is difficult o pick which one to lodge the next time we go.  Guess it depends on what is available and the price at the time.

The neighbourhood where we are staying is pretty quiet and convenient. We are only 5 minutes from the shops and 6 minutes from the trains. I took some photos of the neighbourhood at night using the Sony NEX-5N without a tripod and these photos turn out pretty nicely.

After arriving at Nakano, we spent the first night getting reacquainted with Nakano.  We visited this place the past couple times visiting Tokyo but never stayed here before. There are so many shops and restaurants that it is virtually impossible to finish trying them all.
