I have been to a Japanese Garden when I was visiting Tokyo.  This time, I visited a Chinese Garden in Vancouver.  The Sun Yat-Sen Park and Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden are two parts of the same facility in the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver in China Town.  The Park is free for admission.  The Classical Chinese Garden costs $10 per admission.

More photos of Shangri-La, the tallest tower in Vancouver today.  You maybe aware that Shangri-La is a Hong Kong based hotel group and Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver is their first branch hotel in North America.

At the ground level of Shangri-La, you will find the famous Burberry Store and the specialty grocer, Urban Fare.  There is also Market by Jean-Georges, an upscale restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, on the first floor. Continue reading
