During the second last day of our trip in Tokyo, we went to Kichijoji and took a nice walk in Inokashira Park (井の頭公園). It is one of the oldest parks in Tokyo. There were lots of red leaves and to our surprise, during a weekday, there were also lots of locals strolling in the park. Lifestyle in Tokyo is not half bad :D

Showa Kinen Koen (昭和記念公園) is a place you must visit if you like parks and like to get out of the city a bit. It is a relatively large park about an hour away from Tokyo by train but it has a lot of space and it is a great place to relax and enjoy the afternoon while visiting Tokyo.

I have seen Kinkaku-ji in movies and animes but this is my first time visiting. I think it is one of those places in Japan that you have to visit at least once. Here is what I saw while visiting Kinkaku-ji.
