Danny Choo’s Mirai Clock iPhone app is available in the app store.  It is a neat iPhone application that uses the mascots of http://dannychoo.com as the main display art.  The application is orientation aware so that you can place your iPhone in landscape or portrait mode and the mascots will rotate accordingly.  To find out more, you can see his iPhone 3GS launch coverage.

Or watch the demo:

This app is written by Ken Lee of http://kenleewrites.com.

I got some quick pictures of it running on my iPhone 2G (yes, my iPhone is 18 months old) with OS 3.0 installed.
