A bit sweet but had a lot of "slow burn" spicyness to it. Went to Guu the other day and tried their katsu curry for comparison and it was just crap. Tasted like spaghetti sauce. Have to try out more places downtown for curry now. :-/ Chizuru and I went to some random train station curry shop and it was the best japanese-style curry I ever had. We do have a few trendy ramen places here, but I doubt they taste anything like authentic Japanese ramen. Surprisingly I never had ramen when I was in Japan.
