Photo Walk 2 – Vancouver Downtown and Offices

After installing the new Home Server, I realized that I have a lot of files to transfer from one server to another.  So while I am waiting for some of my photos to be transfered, I took a little break from blogging.

I will write about my experience of using a Mac with Windows Home Server in a different blog post.  But for now, let’s get back to photos.  This time, I got some random work related photos I like to share with you.

Early morning in Downtown Vancouver.

Caffè Artigiano is still my favorite coffee house in Vancouver.  Starbucks is rather weak in comparison.

All blue sky in Summer time.  We still occasionally get some cloudy days but Summer in Vancouver is probably the best kind of Summer one can ask for.

This is how I get to work everyday, commute on buses.  It is not the most efficient use of time sometimes.  Most of the time I get to check emails, listen to podcasts, watch some videos or catch up with Facebook on my iPhone.   But sometimes when the bus decided not to show up, I ended up waiting at the bus stop for a while before the next one comes.  I really miss the mass transit system in Asia.

This is still early in the office, colleagues are starting to come in.

Some of the offices in my company got nice big windows and can catch a glimpse of how nice it is outside.

But this is where I concentrate my attention.

Downtown got some older buildings which is very nice as they have lots of details.

So quiet in the morning, seems so peaceful in downtown.  I have to try to take some shots at night as well.

Until then, hope you enjoyed reading this short post.

P.S. All the photos above are taken with a Canon SD450 point and shoot camera.  Other than the outdated spec and somewhat noisy performance, it is a trustworthy little camera.
