Photo Walk 12 – Vancouver Law Courts
Time really flies when you can’t stop to smell flowers. We are in fall and there are only a few months left before the end of the year.
Vancouver’s fall weather is fantastic. I often cherish the fall weather more than the summer months as fall is usually very short. The weather will start to become chillier and rain will be more frequent.
But the fall colour is the most attractive. It is like all plants are celebrating with their most colourful outfits.
Trees start to shred their leaves but the colours are beautiful.
Even though it is no longer as warm as it was in the summer, it is still very comfortable to be out and about.
The stairs lead us to the roof top garden of the Vancouver Law Courts.
There are different birds residing in the garden and we heard different chirping from time to time. And we found this little bird who was a bit too shy and we had to stay afar. Zoomed in using my Canon EF 70-200mm f4 L.
The roof top also has a nice walkway above the street level. The tall glass building is the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.
Looking down to the street from the walkway. Hope you are not afraid of heights!
Fall weather gives me a calming feeling. It makes me feel relaxed especially in the afternoon when the sun light hits buildings and trees at a nice angle.
The Law Courts building is currently under some renovation, most of it’s roof is covered for maintenance.
This is right outside the Court House on Hornby Street. It was a nice walk.
A more zoomed in view of the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre and the fall colours around it.
Which is your most favourite season?

Autumn is rather short here, only about 2 to 3 weeks. Then it starts raining almost non-stop for 3 to 4 months. That is when people decided to go skiing up on the mountains instead of dealing with the rain.
