Been busy lately geeking out at home. First got my Logitech MX Revolution mouse charging problem fixed. And now I have been playing around with Ubuntu for a few days, trying to run it on the Acer easyStore h340 Home Server which was running my Windows Home Server. Why? I have been growing uneasiness about saving my files on the Windows Home Server. Here is what has been happening….
I have had the Logitech MX Revolution Mouse for a few years and I really enjoy using it. It is different from the Apple Magic Mouse that it has more buttons to compensate for the lack of gesture. It is a great mouse and it is rechargeable. But that is where the problem is for this mouse. When the battery stops charging, what would you do?

Apple today revealed the latest Mac mini with HDMI output. I have been waiting for this for a while and now the wait is over! It is sort of a quiet announcement. There is a small mentioning here. Maybe because it is the same day that you can start ordering the iPhone 4, this new product is a bit overshadowed by all other iPhone 4 pre-order craze news.
There are lots of swallows near where we live and I have always been curious in how well the Canon T1i works in capturing something small and fast.
Discovered this little restaurant in Steveston and was waiting for an opportunity to try it out. Gudrun Tasting Room is located in the Steveston Village, somewhat hidden but very trendy in what it offers.
We went to Steveston today to get some sun. The weather cooperated and it was a lovely day.
