Tokyo Trip / 2013.04 / Meiji Jingu

When we were about to leave Meiji Jingu Shrine, we got sidetracked by the Inner Garden. It is not free but is well worth the ¥500 entrance fee.

The Japanese maple trees have such fine leaves. They look delicate and fluffy when they sway in the wind. I cannot imagine how nice this garden would look in autumn when these trees all turn red.

I think this is a tea house but it was not open when we were visiting. Something to go back to during the next trip :)
