OSX Lion installation is probably one of the most hassle free and simple OS installation I have experienced. After launching the OSX Lion installation downloaded from Mac App Store, there are only a few screens until the end of the installation:

  1. Agree to EULA
  2. Choose a Drive
  3. Restart
The installation portion before the restart takes about 4 minutes on my iMac 24″ 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo machine.

What do you use to keep track of your personal projects? How about for your work? I tried a lot of different ways to keep track of my tasks but I was never pleased with the different tools I used to use.  They are either difficult to use, or they are limited to one or two platforms. Disclaimer: I am new to Linux and do not know enough about what I am doing. If you follow these steps and resulted in data lost, I am sorry but I can’t be held responsible…. other than that, hope this helps you with what you need to accomplish.

Google SketchUp 8 is probably one of the easiest to learn 3D design software.  It is very easy to understand concepts like draw a shape and extrude it to become a three dimensional object.  With the free version of Google SketchUp, you can use simple shapes to create a quick 3D space.  Here I have an example of how I used Google SketchUp to help my sister design her study room.

Been busy lately geeking out at home.  First got my Logitech MX Revolution mouse charging problem fixed.  And now I have been playing around with Ubuntu for a few days, trying to run it on the Acer easyStore h340 Home Server which was running my Windows Home Server.  Why? I have been growing uneasiness about saving my files on the Windows Home Server. Here is what has been happening….
